Europcar, Europe’s leading car hire company, announced today the appointment of Dr. Bernd Schmaul as Chief Commercial Officer of its German unit, Europcar Autovermietung GmbH. The appointment takes effect on November 1, 2009. In this newly created role, Bernd Schmaul will oversee the Marketing, Sales and Customer Relationship Management departments. He joins the Europcar Germany Executive Board alongside Roland Keppler, who was appointed Chairman of the German unit on March 1st of this year.
