DYSERTH RESIDENT WINS BRAND NEW CHRYSLER VOYAGER
Dyserth resident wins brand new Chrysler Voyager with Europcar
Kara Dyson from Dyserth became the proud owner of a brand new Chrysler Voyager worth £21,000 yesterday (Thursday), after winning a nationwide competition with Europcar, Europe’s number one car rental company.
The week-long competition ran across eight regional ITV stations, including ITV Wales, during the local news bulletins, with entrants having to answer a question correctly. A winner from each ITV region was selected at random, winning a three-night European city break including flights and accommodation courtesy of easyJet. The winners were then entered into a national draw, with one chosen to win a car courtesy of Europcar. The competition received over 21,000 entries.
“Winning the car means everything to me,” explained mother of two Kara, a nurse at Glan Clwyd hospital in Bodelwyddan. “My daughter Tyla has achromatopsia, which means she has no sight in bright sunlight and is registered blind. Having a brand new car is going to make a real difference to our lives, and Europcar has kindly had tinted windows fitted to the Voyager which means that Tyla will be able to see out of the windows as we travel. I feel like I have won the lottery ten times over!”
Simon Hall, Head of Contracted Sales at Europcar said: “Kara is a deserving winner of this competition, and we hope her and the family enjoy the car.” Kara is pictured with her daughter Tyla, son Cole and Simon Hall from Europcar UK at Europcar’s rental station in Colwyn Bay.
